Here are four football tips that Guy Giles thinks that you should consider for Lyon v Bayern Munich on Wednesday evening.

Bayern Munich to win

They are the only team to win all nine of their European matches this season and, despite some good results against City and Juventus, Lyon are unlikely to end that streak.

There have been four or more goals in six of Bayern’s nine Champions League matches this season, while they have a goals-per-game ratio of 4.33 in this season’s competition.

They have accounted for this bet themselves in four of those matches, putting seven past Spurs, six past Red Star, four past Chelsea and eight past Barca.

Robert Lewandowski to score

Lewandowski is the top scorer across Europe’s top five leagues this season, netting 54 goals in all competitions so far.

Fourteen of those have come in the Champions League, with the striker scoring in every game he has played in the competition this season.

Thomas Muller to score

Muller netted twice against Barca to take his tally to 14 for the season in all competitions.

He has four in eight Champions League matches, and his link-up play with Lewandowski will make him a threat once again on Wednesday.
