Here are five bets Will Rook thinks you should consider for Napoli v Liverpool, which kicks off at 20:00 on Tuesday.

Napoli to win

Liverpool lost three away games out of three in the group stage last year, including a 1-0 defeat at the San Paolo.

Napoli have won 13 of their last 18 matches at home in all competitions so, at this price, look an enticing bet.

Under 2.5 goals

Both fixtures finished 1-0 to the home side when these sides met in the Champions League last season.

Napoli only scored more than two goals in their final home game against Red Star and they come into this on the back of a 2-0 victory over Sampdoria on Saturday.

Napoli to keep a clean sheet

Liverpool were beaten to nil away to both Napoli and Red Star last season.

The only goal the Reds managed away from Anfield in the group stage was a James Milner penalty in a 2-1 defeat to Paris Saint-Germain, so this looks a huge price.

Dries Mertens to score

Mertens has scored three goals in three appearances for Napoli this season, including a brace against Sampdoria last weekend.

He netted three in three home games in the group stage last season, so is worth looking at here.

Kalidou Koulibaly to be carded

Koulibaly racked up 14 bookings and one red card in 48 appearances in all competitions for Napoli last season.

While he’s yet to pick up his first card this term, he ranks top for tackles and fifth for fouls in Carlo Ancelotti’s squad.
