Mohamed Salah to score

Salah has only scored twice in five league matches, but the fact he ranks first for shots inside the penalty area in the Premier League so far this season suggests another purple patch is imminent.

He scored in all six of the Champions League home matches that he started last term, so back that run to start in what should be a high-scoring match.

Neymar to score

PSG manager Thomas Tuchel cited this match as the reason for resting Neymar in Friday’s 4-0 win over Saint-Etienne.

The Brazilian scored six goals in last season’s group stages, including in both away matches that weren’t dead rubbers.

Jordan Henderson to be carded

There is value in backing Henderson to pick up a card after Jurgen Klopp said last week that he would definitely start this match.

The Liverpool skipper will bring his usual high-intensity style to the match, and could be the man charged with disrupting PSG counter-attacks by any means possible.

Adrien Rabiot to be carded

With the game likely to feature plenty of turnovers and fast counter-attacks, Rabiot will play a similar role to Henderson for PSG.

The Frenchman has already been carded twice this season, including in Friday’s Ligue 1 victory.
