This season, several matches will be valid for our BetYourWay promotion, where customers can request tailor-made bets for individual games.
Here are our selections for Wednesday's action.
Bayern Munich v Celtic
Bayern Munich (-2) –
Jupp Heynckes’ first game back in charge at Bayern produced a 5-0 win over Freiburg, a sign that he has quickly restored normality.
Scott Brown to be booked –
Brown will be charged with disrupting the hosts’ possession wherever possible, a task that will surely result in plenty of fouls and a card.
Thomas Muller to score anytime –
Muller played some of his best football for Bayern under Heynckes, and is one of the players likely to flourish under his regime.
Benfica v Manchester United
Manchester United to win & over 2.5 goals –
United were cautious at Liverpool on Saturday, but that hardly sums up the way that they have played this season.
Back to their normal selves at Benfica, they should win handsomely.
Under 4.5 cards –
Just two of United’s 12 matches this season have produced more than 4.5 cards.
Romelu Lukaku to score –
Lukaku’s blank at Liverpool on Saturday was an exception rather than the rule, and there is little doubt that he will put it behind him against a defence that conceded five to Basel in their last European game.
Chelsea v Roma
Chelsea (-1) –
When Chelsea capitulated in the Premier League two years ago, they reserved their best football for the Champions League.
They should, therefore, beat Roma, who have not enjoyed a particular impressive start to the competition.
Daniele De Rossi to be booked –
De Rossi was booked against Napoli on Saturday, and is a good price to suffer the same fate in this one.
Pedro to score –
Having been left on the bench at Crystal Palace on Saturday, Pedro is a sure starter and a good bet to get his second Champions League goal of the season.
