Champions League qualifiers: Four BTTS bets with teams looking to fight back

Four games that include sides with European pedigree that are bound to provide fireworks in the Second qualifying round of the Champions League

Fola Esch vs Dinamo Zagreb both teams to score

A 1-1 draw back in Croatia was a superb result for Fola Esch, the pluck Luxembourg side have given themselves half a chance in the return leg. However, Zagreb will be desperate not to be knocked out by the European minnows at this early stage, so look for an early fightback.

Dinamo have beaten Fola before, they won 6-0 on aggregate back in 2013 but Fola have shown that they aren’t rolling over this time and could quite conceivably nick another goal.

Maccabi Tel Aviv vs Hibernians both teams to score

The Israeli giants were stunned in Malta, losing 2-1 to Hibernians who stole the victory in the last five minutes. Maccabi Tel Aviv, managed by former Watford boss Slavisa Jokanovic, made the group stages back in the 2004-05 season but need to score at home to get back into this tie.

The Maltese will have hope that one goal will put huge pressure on Tel Aviv to go for it and they’ve shown they are capable already of an upset, so expect this one to be an exciting contest.

Milsami Orhei vs Ludogorets both teams to score

Another shock result in Bulgaria as Ludogorets lost 1-0 at home to Moldovan newcomers Milsami Orhei. The Eagles made the group stages last season, earning a 2-2 draw against Liverpool and beating Basel, but they were powerless to stop Milsami taking an away goal back home.

Ludogorets will be desperate not to go down at this early stage so look for them to attack early to get that elusive away goal but Milsami will always be a danger on the counter.

FC Astana vs Maribor both teams to score

Having drawn with the likes of Chelsea, Schalke and Sporting Lisbon last year, it’s hard to imagine Maribor struggling to qualify but they gave themselves a fright last week. The Slovenian side edged a tight 1-0 victory in the first leg against Astana of Kazakhstan, with the away side having more attempts on goal yet coming away with nothing.

Astana’s injustice will motivate them at home, a quick goal will put a lot of pressure on Maribor, who will be looking to swiftly pass a tricky test and look towards the next round.
