4 To Score: Four goalscorers who could win you £25k
Our writers predict the first scorer in these four matches for our free-to-play football predictions game.
4 To Score is Betway's free-to-play football predictions game, where you can win a jackpot of £25k by correctly predicting the first player to score in our four selected matches.
To help you make your picks, our writers reveal who they think will break the deadlock in the Championship, League One, League Two and Scottish Cup this weekend.
Hearts v Celtic: James Forrest
Celtic have registered four wins over Hearts this season, opening the scoring in each of those victories.
Forrest has taken his game to another level this term with 17 goals and 20 assists in all competitions, and has netted in the last three rounds of the Scottish Cup.
The SFA Player of the Year has scored three times against Hearts in 2018/19, including the opener the last time he played against them in February.
Newport v Tranmere: Jamille Matt
Tranmere haven’t scored the first goal of the game in any of their last five matches away from Prenton Park, so you’re best off looking for a Newport player.
Matt is the Exiles’ second-highest scorer this season with 20 goals in all competitions, five of the last seven of which have come in the first half.
He is a physical presence in the penalty area and should cause problems for Tranmere goalkeeper Scott Davies, who made an error from a set piece to concede the opener against Forest Green in the semi-final second leg.
Charlton v Sunderland: Lyle Taylor
Charlton scored four goals over the course of their semi-final against Doncaster, compared to Sunderland’s one against Portsmouth.
The Addicks have taken the lead before half time in 11 of their last 13 matches, and are definitely the more attractive prospect here.
Lyle Taylor is their top scorer this season with 25 goals. He’s got 10 in his last 12 appearances, five of which have been the first of the game.
Aston Villa v Derby: John McGinn
In a game that is traditionally low-scoring, it might take something spectacular to break the deadlock.
McGinn is the man for that. His volley against Sheffield Wednesday in September was a goal-of-the-season contender, while he went on to add five more.
The Scot ranks second to Tammy Abraham for shots per game in the Villa squad, and 10th in the Championship for shots from outside the box.
