Senegal v Tunisia: Sadio Mane

Tunisia hadn’t even won a match in this competition until their quarter-final victory over Madagascar so it makes sense to side with a Senegal forward.

Mane has scored three goals in four matches in this tournament, so is the obvious bet.

The most recent of his goals was the first of the game against Uganda in the last 16, while six of his last 12 for club and country have broken the deadlock.

Adam Drury

Algeria v Nigeria: Mohamed Youcef Belaili

Algeria have been the tournament’s best team up until this point, scoring 10 goals and conceding just once on their way to the semis.

Adam Ounas is their top scorer with three but is not guaranteed to start, so Belaili is worth backing here.

The winger has scored twice so far, against Senegal and Guinea, with both of those goals being the first of the game.

Guy Giles

Seattle Sounders v Atlanta United: Joevin Jones

Atlanta United have lost four straight away games in the MLS, failing to score the opening goal in any of them.

It makes sense to go with a Sounders player, given they have lost just one of their last 10 games at CenturyLink Field.

Jones averages 1.8 shots per game – the most of any available Sounders player – and is likely to start against Atlanta.

Will Rook

New York Red Bulls v New York City: Brian White

New York Red Bulls have opened the scoring in six of their last seven home games, and have bagged nine goals in their last three matches at Red Bull Arena.

It makes sense to side with one of their players on Sunday night, and White looks the best bet after he scored in last weekend’s 3-3 draw with Atlanta United.

The striker has now netted three goals in his last four appearances, and six in total this season.
