Danny Noppert to win, hit the highest checkout and the most 180s
Noppert arrives at Ally Pally in decent form following a run to the semis of the Players Championship Finals last month.
He hit a 100+ checkout in all but one of his matches at that tournament, plus an 88 in the one exception.
Having hit more maximums than the power-scoring Daryl Gurney in defeat in the last four, and six against Stephen bunting in the previous round, he can be trusted to complete the match treble.
Highest checkout under 126.5 in Simon Stevenson v Ted Evetts
I'll be honest and say that I know absolutely nothing about either of these players.
That being said, we're yet to see a checkout higher than 121 in the tournament so far.
The chances of one of these two setting the benchmark any higher are pretty slim.
Chris Dobey to beat Boris Koltsov
Dobey is another who enjoyed a successful Players Championship Finals, reaching the quarter-finals before running into world No. 5 Gurney.
He's not prolific on the 180s front, hitting exactly two in all four of his matches in Minehead, and only twice hitting the highest checkout.
For that reason, we'll play it by safe by backing the odds-on favourite to make it through to the next round.
