England’s first innings opening partnership: Under 16.5 runs

England’s opening stand has passed 16 in three of eight attempts so far.

With Haseeb Hameed or Rory Burns opening, both of whom are in horrible form, the prospects aren’t great here either.

Steve Smith to score over 39.5 first innings runs

Smith has eased into form in this series, scoring 93 and 67 in two of his last three first-innings knocks.

He is a solid bet to make another sizeable contribution here.

Ben Stokes to score over 21.5 runs

Stokes had his best match of the series at Sydney, scoring 66 and 60.

He has passed this mark in each of his last three first innings.

Ollie Robinson to be England’s top first-innings wicket-taker

Robinson has taken nine wickets in five innings so far in this series, so is bound to be back among them when he returns to the side at Hobart.

He hadn’t taken fewer than three wickets in any of his seven Tests before pulling up at Melbourne.
