Saturday horse racing tips for Glorious Goodwood and Newmarket 31 07 21

With money back as a free bet if your horse finishes second on all ITV races, our tipster makes his picks for Saturday at Glorious Goodwood and Newmarket.

13:35 Newmarket – Princess Power

A return to 6f should see Princess Power record her first win in a couple of seasons.

She went close a couple of times last season and has run well in two starts this campaign, despite both being over 5f, which is arguably slightly too short for her.

She ran well at Ascot last time out and is now down to her lowest mark since 2018, so this looks a very winnable opportunity for her.

16:45 Goodwood – Fantasy Believer (each way)

Last time out at Sandown, Fantasy Believer did his best work in the final furlong as he stayed on strongly up the hill.

That isn’t the first time he’s run on well late in a race. He actually finished second over course and distance in August 2020, so I know he’ll act around this course.

He needs this 1m1f trip now and has dropped a few lbs to a mark of 89, which is appealing, and he has the young and talented Marco Ghiani on his back, too.

4 To Win selections

13:55 Goodwood – Kimifive

Long threatened to win a race of this nature and has been in good form this season.

14:10 Newmarket – Baby Bay

Shown plenty of promise in three starts and has no weight on her back.

14:30 Goodwood – Future Investment

He’s a thorough stayer who was only beaten a nose at Ascot last time out.

15:40 Goodwood – Fresh

Improved a lot this season and was a good second in the Wokingham last time out.
