Here are five football tips Guy Giles thinks you should consider for Tottenham v Man City on Sunday afternoon.

Manchester City to win

City are unbeaten in five Premier League matches, and have won their last three on the road in all competitions.

Spurs have won just three of their last 10 overall, and haven’t beaten City in the league since October 2016.

Both teams to score

BTTS has landed in three of Tottenham’s last five at home, and three of their last five overall.

There have been goals at both ends in four of City’s last five, while the reverse fixture between these sides ended 2-2 in August.

Over 3.5 goals

There have been at least four goals in eight of City’s last 10 games on the road.

The reverse fixture saw four goals shared, while these teams also played out a 4-3 thriller in the Champions League last season.

Raheem Sterling to score

Sterling is yet to score in 2020, with his last goal coming against Wolves on 27 December.

He has a good record against Spurs, though, scoring eight times in 15 career meetings, including three in his last three.

Harry Winks to be carded

Winks is Spurs’ most-carded player this season, with seven yellows in 25 appearances.

An opposition midfielder has been booked in City’s last four Premier League matches, so he looks a likely candidate on Sunday.
