Here are five football tips Jack Green thinks you should consider for Sheffield United v Arsenal on Monday night.

Arsenal to win

Arsenal haven’t looked particularly impressive this season, but they’ve still only lost to Liverpool in the Premier League and have won four of five games against teams outside the Big Six.

Sheffield United made a decent start to the season but have won just one of their last six league games, losing three on the bounce at Bramall Lane.

Both teams to score

Arsenal kept a clean sheet against Bournemouth last time out – their first since the opening day of the season – but they have conceded the third-most shots of any Premier League side and rank inside the bottom half in xGA.

It’s worth backing Sheffield United to get on the scoresheet on Monday night after Watford and Aston Villa each managed to do so twice against the Gunners.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to score

Aubameyang’s goals have won Arsenal 12 of their 15 points this season, and the Gabon international is clearly the likeliest scorer for Monday night’s game.

He’s scored eight goals in nine starts in all competitions this season, including four in Arsenal’s last three away games.

Arsenal to have the most cards

Arsenal have picked up 20 yellow cards in eight matches this season, the highest rate in the Premier League, and have had at least two players carded in six of them.

Sheffield United rank 13th with 13 bookings so far.

Granit Xhaka to be carded

While Arsenal have a few booking merchants, Xhaka is their undisputed card king.

The midfielder has been shown four yellow cards in seven league appearances this season and also picked up a booking for Switzerland in the international break.
