Here are five football tips Guy Giles thinks you should consider for Burnley v Manchester City on Tuesday night.

Manchester City (-1)

City have won seven of their last eight matches against Burnley, with a 1-1 draw in 2017/18 the only exception.

They’ve scored 23 goals during that time, compared to just four for the Clarets.

Over 2.5 goals

There have been three or more goals in eight of City’s 10 away matches this season.

They twice beat Burnley 5-0 last season, and 4-1 and 3-0 the season before that.

Bernardo Silva to score

Bernardo only played 21 minutes off the bench at the weekend after serving a one-match ban.

He has three goals in his last five appearances against Burnley.

Goal scored between 76-90 minutes

Manchester City have scored nine goals in the final 15 minutes of Premier League matches this season – more than any other side.

Burnley, meanwhile, have scored six and conceded four during the same timeframe.

Ashley Westwood to be carded

Westwood should return to Burnley’s starting line-up after serving a one-match ban for picking up five yellow cards.

An opposition midfielder has been booked in three of City’s last five Premier League matches, making Westwood a prime candidate for another booking on Tuesday.
