Here are Tom Clee‘s football betting tips for Brighton v Burnley on Saturday evening.

Brighton to win & under 2.5 goals

There’s only been one goal in the last three games between these sides, so this is bound to be tight. Brighton, though, ought to edge it.

They have an excellent record at the Amex – only losing to Spurs, Chelsea and Liverpool this season – and have conceded just two goals in their last six home games against teams outside the top six.

Of the teams outside the bottom three, only Newcastle have scored fewer than Burnley on the road.

Glenn Murray to score

Murray scored two goals within 16 minutes of coming off the bench in midweek to secure Brighton’s place in the last 16 of the FA Cup.

He’s not scored in four home games, but he did net seven in seven before that, so is due a goal in front of his own fans.

Both teams over 1.5 cards

Burnley are the Premier League’s most-carded team with 53 yellows, 64 per cent of which come away from home.

The Clarets have received two or more bookings in nine of their 13 away games this season, while Brighton have picked up two or more in eight of their 12 at home.

With both teams desperate to pull away from the bottom three, this looks nailed on.

Under 4.5 Burnley corners

Burnley don’t commit many players away from home, earning four or fewer corners in all but one of their 12 away games since the opening weekend.

Brighton didn’t allow Watford a single corner in their last home match, so this looks a safe addition.
