Here are five football tips Guy Giles thinks you should consider for Aston Villa v Newcastle on Monday night.
Aston Villa to win
Villa have won two of their last three home games in all competitions, with a 2-1 loss to Premier League leaders Liverpool the exception.
Newcastle won their last away match 3-2 against West Ham but have lost four of their six on the road overall.
BTTS & Over 2.5 goals
There have been goals at both ends in five of Villa’s seven home matches in all competitions.
Newcastle have scored in four of their six league games on the road, including goals against Liverpool and Tottenham.
Goal scored between 61-75 minutes
Villa have scored twice and conceded five times in this timeframe in the Premier League this season.
Newcastle, meanwhile, have scored once and conceded seven in the same period.
Frederic Guilbert to be carded
Guilbert has been booked four times in the league this season, more than any other Villa player.
With the likes of Allan Saint-Maximin and Miguel Almiron running at him, a fifth booking – and one-match suspension – could come on Monday.
Isaac Hayden to be carded
Jack Grealish, the Premier League’s most-fouled player, is set to return from injury for Villa.
An opposition central midfielder has been carded in eight of his last nine starts, so Hayden is a prime candidate.
