Here are Adam Drury‘s football betting tips for Everton v Manchester City on Tuesday night.

Man City to win & BTTS

Everton’s only failure to score in a home match this season was in a dreary New Year’s Day game against Leicester, so back them to hit the net against the champions.

The Toffees have lost both of their home matches against top-seven teams while scoring, with last weekend’s 1-3 defeat to Wolves following a 6-2 hammering from Tottenham.

City beat Arsenal 3-1 on Sunday and have only kept clean sheets at Huddersfield and Burton in their last nine away games.

Aymeric Laporte to score

Everton’s problems from set-pieces are well-documented, and the fact that no Premier League side has conceded more goals from them lends itself to backing Laporte to find the net.

The centre-back – who seems to be immune from rotation – has already scored three goals this season and went close with a header that was eventually flagged offside against Arsenal on Sunday.

He also ranks second for attempts from set-pieces per game in the Manchester City squad.

Andre Gomes to be carded

Gomes has been carded in four of his last nine appearances, and he is a good bet for another here.

The Portuguese ranks second for fouls per game in the entire Premier League this season, while an opposition midfielder has been carded in five of City’s last eight league matches.

Fernandinho to be carded

Having picked up six cards this season, Fernandinho is another candidate to land himself in the referee’s book on Wednesday.

The Brazilian ranks top for fouls and third for tackles in the City squad, and, with Everton likely to play an open, attacking game, will charged with ending counter-attacks.
