Here are Tom Bowles‘ football tips for Tottenham v Manchester United.
Tottenham to win
Tottenham are always worth backing at odds-against.
Excluding last month’s aberration against Wolves, the only Premier League or Champions League games they have failed to win at Wembley were against Liverpool, Barcelona and Manchester City.
United have improved under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, but they remain some way off the standard of those three sides.
Christian Eriksen to score
Eriksen has scored four times in his last seven Premier League appearances, with three of them coming at Wembley. He also netted after 12 seconds in this fixture last season.
Luke Shaw to be booked
Shaw has seven yellow cards in the Premier League this season after being booked at Newcastle last time out. That’s more than any other player in the division after Bournemouth’s Jefferson Lerma and Watford’s Jose Holebas.
Ashley Young to be booked
Young is close behind Shaw on six, and it’s easy to see him also going in the book on Sunday. United’s full-backs are being encouraged to overlap under Solskjaer and are more likely to find themselves caught out of position by Spurs’ fluid attackers.
