Here are Tom Bowles’ football tips for Man Utd v Chelsea on Sunday.
Man Utd to win
United were outclassed by Man City in midweek, but Chelsea are kinder opposition, having lost at Tottenham, Arsenal, City and Liverpool in the league already this season.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side beat the Blues comfortably at Stamford Bridge in the FA Cup in February and, even though their recent form is rubbish, I fancy the home side to edge this one.
Paul Pogba to score
United have not scored since beating West Ham 2-1 four games ago, when Paul Pogba netted two penalties.
With Marcus Rashford, Jesse Lingard and Anthony Martial out of form, Pogba – who also scored a brilliant header against Chelsea in that FA Cup win – will be United’s biggest threat on Sunday.
Eden Hazard to score
Hazard has four goals in his last seven Premier League matches. He is the player United will be most worried about, especially as it will be up to out-of-form Ashley Young to stop him.
Ashley Young to be booked
See above. Young has been booked 13 times in all competitions this season, including in both matches he has played against Chelsea.
