Nine players you must consider for your Fantasy team this weekend.
DEFENDERS
Trent Alexander-Arnold (Liverpool)
Alexander-Arnold is credited with one Premier League assist by most sources, but has posted the second-highest xAssists of all Premier League defenders.
He is surely going to set up another goal soon then, and a home game against Chelsea gives him an ideal opportunity.
The Blues are without a clean sheet in seven away games, conceding four goals at Brighton and Man City on that run.
Kieran Trippier (Newcastle)
If you don’t own Trippier already, it’s time to get involved.
Newcastle have kept the most clean sheets in the Premier League (11). Trippier has 133 FPL points, with the next-best defender on 91.
Crystal Palace have only scored in two of their last six league matches – one of which was a brilliant Michael Olise free-kick against Man Utd.
Serge Aurier (Nottingham Forest)
Only Newcastle, Arsenal, Man Utd and Man City have kept more Premier League clean sheets than Nottingham Forest this season.
Aurier is the best bet of Steve Cooper’s defenders, ranking top for key passes and crosses per game and second for xG + xA.
Bournemouth rank bottom for xG in the Premier League and are without a goal in four league games.
MIDFIELDERS
Marcus Rashford (Man Utd)
Rashford ranks eight in the Premier League for shots on target this season.
The Manchester United forward is in unbelievable form, scoring in seven of eight matches since the World Cup.
Arsenal have conceded seven goals in their last three matches against Man Utd, with Rashford scoring a brace against them earlier this season.
Kaoru Mitoma (Brighton)
Mitoma has scored or assisted in three of his five appearances since the World Cup.
The Japan international has posted an xG + xA per 90 of 0.72 so far this season, the highest figure of any Brighton player to have played over 200 minutes.
He takes on Leicester, who have conceded eight goals in their last four games.
Wilfried Gnonto (Leeds)
Of Leeds players to have played a considerable number of minutes, only Patrick Bamford and Rodrigo have a higher xG + xA per game this season.
The Italian has been in particularly good form recently, topping the Leeds squad for xG since the World Cup. He had three shots and played two key passes against Aston Villa last time out in the league.
Only four teams have conceded more away goals than Brentford this season.
FORWARDS
Erling Haaland (Man City)
Haaland has scored the first goal eight times in all competitions for Man City this season.
The striker has scored 28 goals overall, including at least one in 11 of his last 12 matches at the Etihad Stadium.
Wolves have only kept a clean sheet at Bournemouth in 11 away games this season.
Michail Antonio (West Ham)
Everton have conceded 21 goals in their last eight matches, shipping at least three goals in three of their last four away games.
The Toffees have conceded more shots (307) than any other team in the Premier League this season.
A West Ham forward is worth considering then, and as the most likely starter, Antonio could be your man.
Darwin Nunez (Liverpool)
Nunez has done everything but score in the Premier League over the last few weeks.
Of players with considerable playing time, the forward ranks top for xG per 90 minutes since the World Cup. He also ranks second for shots per game in the Premier League this season.
As outlined above, Chelsea’s poor defensive record means that they are likely to concede here.
