Based on our prices for goals, clean sheets and scorers, we reveal the best bets for your fantasy team this weekend.
Betway are delighted to be partnering with Dream Team for the 2019/20 season.
As part of our partnership, we have created a mini-league, with prizes on offer for the top managers each month and the overall winner.
To enter the league, simply sign-up and join the league with the PIN: SGINSIDE.
Each week, we will recommend players that you should select for your team based on our odds for goals, clean sheets and scorers.
These are the four players that you should consider selecting for Game Week 2.
Adrian (£1.5m) v Southampton
Alisson’s opening-day injury means he’s one to get rid of this week, but you don’t have to look far for his replacement.
We have priced Liverpool at for a clean sheet against Southampton – the second-shortest price to keep one in the Premier League – despite the absence of their No.1.
Understudy Adrian will fill in and can make you a nice saving on the Brazilian’s pricetag of £4.5m – the equal-highest in the game for a goalkeeper.
Liverpool also face Burnley and Newcastle in their next three games and will likely be an even shorter price to keep a clean sheet in those.
Ainsley Maitland-Niles (£1.5m) v Burnley
We judge Burnley to be the Premier League’s least likely side to score this weekend, pricing them at to find the net at least once.
It makes sense, therefore, to include at least one Arsenal defender.
Maitland-Niles put in an 8.4/10-rated performance against Newcastle, according to WhoScored, so looks a good pick.
Gylfi Sigurdsson (£4m) v Watford
Watford were hammered 3-0 at home to Brighton on the opening day and, judging by the odds, it’s unlikely to get much better for them this weekend.
We make the Hornets a shot to keep a clean sheet – longer than any other side not playing against the Big Six.
As a result, Sigurdsson should be of interest at £4m.
The 29-year-old is to score anytime – shorter than any midfielder outside Raheem Sterling, Sadio Mane or Nicolas Pepe.
THE BIG DEBATE: Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (£6m v Burnley) or Mohamed Salah (£7.5m v Southampton)
Having saved some cash on your goalkeeper and defender, you should be able to splash out elsewhere.
But before you rush to snap Salah up, the odds suggest that there is a better option this weekend.
Aubameyang is just to bag at Southampton.
