For every West Ham game this season, the We Are West Ham Podcast will give their football tips to try and win money for charity.
We’ve brought together two Hammers fans from the We Are West Ham podcast who will provide their football bets for every West Ham game in the Premier League this season in an attempt to win money for a charity that is close to their hearts.
The podcast is run by two Hammers fans: Will Pugh and James Jones.
We will place a £50 bet on each of their selections, with all profits donated to the charity of their choice. This year, the lads will be donating to DT38 and Bobby Moore Fund.
Next up for the Hammers is trip to Luton and the first ever Premier League game at Kenilworth Road.
James Jones: Over 2.5 goals, Jarrod Bowen to have over 3.5 shots on target and Edson Alvarez to score 80/1
James says: “Top-flight football takes place at Kenilworth Road for the first time in 31 years on Friday night when Luton host West Ham and I expect the home team to have a real go for their first win of the season. The Hammers are in great scoring form and come into this fixture full of confidence, so I am expecting plenty of goals.
“Jarrod Bowen has his shooting boots on, scoring in both his side’s Premier League away games this season and he will look to shoot at every opportunity. New signing Edson Alvarez has made it clear he is really up for this game, so I am backing him to get his first Premier League goal.”
Will Pugh: Michail Antonio to score, Jarrod Bowen to score and a red card to be shown 50/1
Will says: “I can see the The Hammers winning this one comfortably with Antonio and Bowen among the goals. If Bowen scores again tonight, he will be the first player since West Ham’s all-time top scorer Vic Watson (1930/31) to score in the club’s first three top-flight away games.
“I think there will be a raucous atmosphere in the ground and tensions will be high. There will be plenty of physicality on show from the home team and West Ham are well equipped to match them, it wouldn’t surprise me to see the ref pull out a red card at some point in proceedings.”
