To help you make your picks, our writers reveal who they think will break the deadlock in the Premier League this weekend.
West Ham v Newcastle: Michail Antonio
West Ham have gone ahead in each of their last four matches at the London Stadium, including against both Liverpool and Arsenal.
They look a good bet to continue that run against a Newcastle side without an away win in six.
Antonio has scored two goals in his last two home games and has the second-best shots-per-game ratio in West Ham’s squad with 1.7.
Watford v Leicester: Gerard Deulofeu
Wednesday’s 5-0 defeat at Liverpool aside, Watford have scored the opener in eight of their last nine matches that have had a goal.
Given that Leicester haven’t kept a clean sheet in their last eight games and conceded the first goal in each of those, it makes sense to go with a Hornet here.
Deulofeu scored the first goal and bagged at hat-trick away to Cardiff last weekend while playing as a striker and should cause more problems for a struggling defence this week.
Fulham v Chelsea: Pedro
Fulham have scored just one goal in their last four matches, so it’s best to play it safe with a Chelsea player here.
Pedro has started five of the Blues’ last six matches in all competitions, and opened the scoring in the 2-0 win over Tottenham on Wednesday night.
The Spaniard also opened the scoring against Fulham earlier this season, so he looks a decent choice to grab an early goal on Sunday.
Everton v Liverpool: Sadio Mane
Liverpool aren’t in great form, but they haven’t conceded the first goal in a Merseyside derby since the 2012 FA Cup semi-final.
Mane scored two goals in the first 20 minutes against Watford in midweek, taking his tally in the Premier League this season to 14.
The 26-year-old has now scored the first goal in four of Liverpool’s last five league games, and is the clear choice once again this weekend.
