New York Knicks (-4.5) vs Orlando Magic
The Knicks have recorded three double-digit wins in a row and now face the struggling Magic.
Orlando has lost eight of its last 10 games, including a 109-90 rout against the Phoenix Suns on Sunday night.
All eight of those defeats came by a margin of at least six points and the Magic rank 28th in the NBA in average margin of victory, so it’s worth backing the Knicks to cover the spread.
Boston Celtics (-4.5) vs Atlanta Hawks
The Celtics haven’t looked like title contenders recently, having lost four of their last six games, but they should get back on track in this meeting with Atlanta.
The Hawks have lost four in a row and seven of their last eight, with their last three defeats all coming by double digits.
They’ve lost their last seven games against the Celtics and haven’t won in Boston since April 2018.
Portland Trail Blazers (+3.5) vs New Orleans Pelicans
Portland has climbed to fourth in the Western Conference thanks to a run of five consecutive wins.
Star point guard Damian Lillard has been playing at an MVP level as the Trail Blazers have won eight of their last 10, and they’re worth backing again against the Pelicans.
New Orleans has been disappointing this season, sitting 11th in the West with a 12-15 record, and they had lost three in a row by 11 points or more before beating the Grizzlies on Tuesday night.
Golden State Warriors (+1) vs Miami Heat
The Warriors are coming off a 129-98 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers and have now won three of their last four games to move into eighth in the West.
Eight of Golden State’s last 10 wins have come by margin of at least 20 points and it now ranks 10th in the NBA in net rating.
Miami looked to be turning its season around with a four-game winning streak at the start of February, but the defending East champions followed that up with back-to-back defeats and have now lost nine of their last 14.
